Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician - Outpatient Neurology

Position Details Department: PCMG-MAIN | Neurology Location: Phoenix Shift: Mon‑Fri, 8am‑5pm Category: Advanced Practice Clinicians Posting #: 1024638 Employee Type: Full‑Time Position Summary We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 3 years of pediatric experience and preferred neurology experience to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurology care for children and families at Phoenix Children’s Division of Neurology. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive health histories, physical assessments, and develop plans of care for infants, children, and young adults. Order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, perform therapeutic procedures, and manage advanced procedures as appropriate. Formulate family‑centered plans of care, maintain daily documentation, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members. Collect and analyze clinical data, utilize evidence‑based practice, and adjust care plans based on family needs and effectiveness. Act as an educational resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other providers. Participate in professional development, maintain required competencies, and mentor students, residents, and new staff. Demonstrate commitment to patient safety, report concerns, and advocate for safe practice. Perform any additional job‑related duties as requested. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience; preferred neurology experience. Valid credentials as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Ability to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care skills.
