The firm’s growing real estate practice supports residential and investment property transactions, while its immigration practice helps clients navigate family-based petitions, employment visas, naturalization, and removal defense. Flavio DaCosta Law serves clients in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, ensuring accessible and trusted legal support. Role Description The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from intake through closing. This full-time hybrid role is based in Fall River, MA, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing real estate documents, coordinating with buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders, and tracking key deadlines to ensure smooth closings. The paralegal will assist with title searches, title insurance documentation, and resolution of title issues under attorney supervision. Additional tasks include maintaining organized case files, communicating with clients in a professional and clear manner, and supporting attorneys with scheduling, closing packages, and post-closing follow-up. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in legal document preparation, including drafting, organizing, and reviewing real estate closing and related legal documents. Candidates should possess skills in due diligence, including reviewing title reports, identifying potential issues, and assisting with resolutions under attorney guidance. Candidates should possess knowledge of title insurance processes, including coordinating with title companies and preparing required documentation. Candidates should possess experience with leases and commercial real estate matters, including assisting with lease review and basic commercial transaction support. Relevant qualifications include prior real estate or transactional paralegal experience, strong attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple files, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively in a small firm environment; proficiency with standard legal and office software is beneficial. Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience is preferred; familiarity with Rhode Island and Massachusetts real estate practices is an asset. Multilingual skills (Portuguese and/or Spanish) are a plus, along with a professional, client-focused approach to service. #J-18808-Ljbffr
