Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide specialized Labor and Delivery care for patients during their childbirth journey. The role involves delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment to support mothers through labor and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously during labor.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about labor processes, pain management options, and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and NRP certifications.
  
  
• 
  Ability to proactively assess and respond to patient needs during labor.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float to similar units if required, with minimal supervision.
  
  
• 
  Must be compliant with travel and facility-specific policies, including fingerprints and background check requirements.
