Phlebotomist - Float

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Melrose MA Work Schedule: Your planned work schedule will be an 8 hour shift Monday - Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and rotating Saturdays. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 or more months phlebotomy experience Preferred Qualifications Current or prior LabCorp experience 1 or more years phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation Must be at least 21 years old Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
