Superior Duct Fabrication is one of the leading HVAC sheet metal manufacturers in the United States, serving commercial contractors through eight fabrication facilities. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Pomona, California .

Working closely with customers, outside sales, estimating, production, and operations, you will help drive sales growth while ensuring an outstanding customer experience from quote to delivery.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting Superior Duct Fabrication's continued growth by developing and maintaining customer relationships while providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. This position is responsible for preparing quotes, processing customer orders, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring projects move efficiently from inquiry through delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a collaborative environment where responsiveness and attention to detail are essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide professional, courteous service by phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and pricing for current and prospective customers.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Operations to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Follow up on quotations and proactively identify sales opportunities.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, lead times, product availability, and order status.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information within the ERP system.
• Assist outside sales representatives with customer requests and project coordination.
• Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to customers as needed.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Meet established deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team success.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

• Three (3) to five (5) years of inside sales, customer service, HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar is preferred.
• Experience working with CRM software is a plus.
