School Resource Officer: Mentor Youth & Safeguard Schools
City of Bethel
The City of Bethel seeks a certified Police Officer to serve as School Resource Officer (SRO). The role supports safe schools, builds positive relations with youth, and mentors students while addressing school-related law-enforcement matters. In collaboration with the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Lower Kuskokwim School District, the SRO develops youth programs and coordinates cadet activities to promote public safety.
