Project Administrator - BIDMC (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our Pathology Support team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). The Project Administrator supports the successful delivery of projects by helping leaders plan, execute, monitor, and close key initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Partner with project sponsors to define scope, goals, success criteria, and assumptions Develop and implement clear, effective communication strategies Create engaging presentations that inform and influence stakeholders Identify project resources and key stakeholders Facilitate team participation and process documentation Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with strong organization Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 1–3 years of related experience required Includes 2+ years of progressively responsible work in project management and/or business administration Healthcare experience preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Ability to create complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases Preferred Qualifications Additional project management training Experience in healthcare or academic environments Core Competencies Decision Making Applies judgment within established guidelines Recommends solutions for moderately complex challenges Problem Solving Analyzes varied situations using observation, experience, and established practices Independence Prioritizes and organizes work effectively Seeks guidance when navigating complex or unpredictable situations Communication (Written & Verbal) Clearly communicates complex information to diverse audiences Engages effectively with staff, patients, families, and external partners Knowledge & Expertise Demonstrates strong understanding of relevant concepts, practices, and policies Team Leadership Leads small projects or workgroups Fosters a collaborative, respectful environment and improves workflows Customer Service Excellence Delivers high-quality service and training Resolves issues in a timely, professional manner Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary work Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling (up to 10 lbs) Mostly sitting with occasional walking and standing Pay Range $62,000.00 USD – $92,000.00 USD. The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
