Job Description: - Location: Levinson Heart Hospital-CVOR - Address: 7101 Jahnke Road, Richmond VA 23225 - Unit: CVOR-4th floor Unit Specifics: - Number of Beds: * - Patient Ratios: * - Unit Staffing Description: Includes unit secretaries and tech availability - Type of Equipment: * - Documentation System: * - Scheduling Requirements: * - Floating Policy: * - Patient Experience Requirements: * Hospital Specifics: - Certifications: * Hiring Profile: - Requested Skill Set: - Proficient in scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass - Skilled in thoracic surgery, including da Vinci assisted procedures - Experience with open thoracotomy and VATS - Knowledgeable in ECMO initiation and pericardial window procedures - Availability for call; unit hours are 0630-1500 - Weekend Call: - Assignments on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Essential Qualifications: - Must have: 2 years of CVOR RN experience - Advanced Skills Needed: - Expertise in a variety of cardiac cases, including CABG, valve replacement, repair of aortic dissections, and TAVR - Proficient in thoracic surgery procedures (da Vinci assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsy, ECMO) Certifications Required: - BLS Dress Code: - Scrubs: Hospital provided Unit Guidelines/Policies: - Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.
