The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking team‑oriented individuals to support our after‑school programs across the Glen Allen/West End Region. Position: School Age Child Care Program Assistant Locations: Crestview Elementary, Echo Lake Elementary, Maybeury Elementary, Shady Grove Family YMCA, Springfield Park Elementary and the Tuckahoe Family YMCA Schedule: Monday‑Friday | 2:00pm‑6:15pm Salary Range: $13‑$14 per hour Your Role on the Team: Partner with program staff to keep activities running smoothly and on schedule Assist with group management, transitions, and daily routines Set up and clean up activity spaces, snacks, and materials Offer encouragement and support to children as they participate in games and projects Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants What Makes You a Great Fit: Friendly, dependable, and eager to contribute Comfortable working in a team and taking direction Interest in gaining experience with youth programs At least 16 years old.
