PRODUCTION NAVIGATOR

(Production Coordinator / Manufacturing Scheduler)

This Isn’t a “Clock In, Clock Out” Job.

We build things nobody else wants to touch — custom screw conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, silos, and bulk material handling equipment engineered from scratch for some of the most demanding industrial customers in the world. We’re a fast-growing engineer-to-order fabrication shop, and every day looks different. That’s not a cliché; it’s a warning.

We’re looking for a Production Navigator to work directly alongside our Production Manager in the day-to-day coordination that keeps a custom fabrication shop running. If you need a routine, this isn’t your place. If you thrive when the floor is moving fast, and priorities shift before lunch, keep reading.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• This role sits at the intersection of production scheduling, ERP administration, and shop floor communication. Day-to-day, you will be:
• Supporting the Production Manager with all aspects of daily production flow from morning priority checks to end-of-day schedule adjustments
• Viewing, editing, and maintaining the production schedule inside our Fulcrum ERP system 
• Updating operation routings and tracking real-time inventory requirements across active manufacturing jobs
• Communicating clearly with shop floor personnel, department leads, and management
• Identifying and solving bottlenecks before they become crises
• Assisting with production coordination, job status tracking, and materials planning
• Whatever else needs to happen to keep production moving, and that list changes daily

The right candidate:

• Shows up on time, every time; punctuality is non-negotiable
• Has an unshakable “get it done” mentality if you don’t know how, you find out
• Doesn’t accept “it can’t be done” as a final answer
• Can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Picks up new systems, processes, and information quickly and retains them
• Pays close attention to the details that everyone else misses
• Communicates clearly and professionally: email, phone, or face-to-face on the shop floor
• Is comfortable in a loud, fast-paced heavy manufacturing environment
• Industrial manufacturing/fabrication experience preferred. 

Strong computer skills are non-negotiable. You will be inside our ERP and scheduling systems daily, editing job data, managing production coordinator tasks, tracking inventory requirements, and pulling reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected. If a spreadsheet makes you nervous, this isn’t the right fit.
