Responsibilities Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on flexible pipe systems and associated equipment; troubleshoot and diagnose issues; execute maintenance tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Asset Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections of assets; perform functional and pressure testing of equipment; document findings and report significant issues to the ARMO Shop Manager. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities; prepare and submit maintenance logs, service reports, and other required documentation; assist in tracking inventory levels of spare parts and tools. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines; ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies; participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the ARMO Shop Manager and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks. Strong Leadership Skills: Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by offering feedback on processes and procedures. Qualifications Experience in maintenance or repair roles, preferably in marine or industrial environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical skills, proficient in using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Hydraulic trained, experienced with pressures up to 20k psi on small‑bore tubing, capable of running an HPU, diagnosing faults, and building hydraulic system circuits with pipe, fittings, and hoses. Able to explain how to test an SCM and the purpose of an SEM and DCVs. Proficient in fault‑finding electrical circuits, testing electrical harnesses and connectors. Confident in running an ETU and laptop‑configured engine to control testing. Experience with hyperbaric operations. Familiarity with ISO 13628‑6 and API 17F. Ability to use PAMAS and a cleanliness check device. Capability to write JSAs, risk assessments, and COSHH assessments.
