Range = $27,618 to $96,677 annually * * Range above represents difficulty of care payments paid to a caregiver for providing personal care services to an eligible person residing either in the caregiver’s home or in the person’s own home. Stipend rates are contingent upon assessed needs of the person and subject to state approval. Believing in the transformative power of caring for a person in a home-setting, we support individuals through matching them with caring providers who open their hearts and homes to our members as Shared Living Caregivers. Shared Living Caregivers need to provide a flexible and supportive environment where the individual they are supporting will feel safe and secure. We are currently seeking a Shared Living Caregiver for a young man in his 30s who is working toward greater independence. He is employed during the week, spends some time independently both at home and in the community, and is motivated to build meaningful connections and develop new skills. He enjoys a variety of interests and looks forward to sharing some of those experiences with a housemate or family setting. Responsibilities of the Shared Living Caregiver include planning and sharing daily meals, coordinating transportation and attending appointments, supporting participation in community and social activities, assisting with budgeting and money management, and providing supervision and guidance with internet use. The provider may also offer assistance, supervision, and skill-building in areas such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while providing emotional and behavioral support as needed.
