Work Environment

This position is based in Hackensack, New Jersey, within the comfort of our patients' homes, allowing for personalized therapy in familiar surroundings. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a structured schedule that allows you to focus on your professional development while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of new patients, collecting relevant medical histories, and performing physical evaluations to identify functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, utilizing innovative methodologies and evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary, ensuring all documentation, including charting and tracking for Medicare, is consistently accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, injury prevention techniques, and ways to promote ongoing health and well-being.
• Engage actively with the community through outreach and networking efforts to expand our patient base and foster long-term relationships with community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation following surgeries or injuries, as well as individuals with chronic pain conditions. You will address a diverse range of needs, creating individual care plans that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and modality applications such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation. Your role will involve not only enhancing patients' physical capabilities but also supporting their emotional resilience throughout their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Comprehensive knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and commonly utilized therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
