Assistant Estimator/Quality Take-Off Support

The Assistant Estimator/Quantity Take-Off Support will provide essential support to our Senior Estimators by quantifying elements of construction using PDF plans, 2D CAD files, and 3D models. The ideal candidate will assist in developing scopes of work associated with quantity take-offs and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Senior Estimators to quantify construction elements from PDF plans, 2D CAD files, and 3D models. Develop and refine scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring all quantity take-offs are comprehensive and precise. Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform accurate quantity take-offs and maintain detailed records. Assist in preparing and organizing bid documents, ensuring all necessary information is included and accurate. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other documents to accurately assess project requirements. Support the Senior Estimators in compiling data for cost estimates and budget preparation. Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project deadlines. Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve any discrepancies. Qualifications: Experience with quantity take-offs and estimating in the construction industry. Proficiency in using software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other estimating tools. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
