Executive Risk Account Executive Job Summary Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive Risk Account Executive to manage and grow client relationships while providing expert risk management solutions. This role involves delivering tailored solutions, retaining and expanding accounts, and serving as a key advisor to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong account management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Responsibilities Build, maintain, and strengthen lasting client relationships as the primary point of contact for all risk management and account-related matters. Develop and deliver executive risk solutions tailored to client needs, with a focus on both retention and growth. Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, actuaries, and claims specialists, to ensure timely, effective resolutions to client concerns. Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify opportunities for optimized coverage and improved satisfaction. Analyze market trends to provide informed recommendations on risk management strategies. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through prospecting and upselling additional services. Ensure client interactions adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Prepare and deliver professional presentations and reports for client meetings and stakeholder engagements. Act as a trusted advisor to clients by keeping them informed of regulatory changes, market conditions, and relevant risk management products. Mentor and collaborate with junior account executives to contribute to a learning-focused organizational culture. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as an Account Executive, ideally in the risk management, insurance, or financial services sector. Comprehensive knowledge of executive risk products, including Directors & Officers (D&O) liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Liability insurance. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate complex conversations with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend customized solutions. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals and deliver exceptional client satisfaction. Organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events. Preferred Qualifications Professional designations such as CPCU, CRM, ARM, or CIC. Experience working with high-profile or C-suite clients. Familiarity with emerging risks, including cyber liability or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) factors.
