Produce Sales Representative – Chattanooga MarketCompany: T&T ProduceLocation: Chattanooga, Tennessee AreaJob Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleT&T Produce is expanding its Chattanooga sales team and seeking a motivated professional ready to build your own book of business from the ground up.This is a hands-on, outside sales role servicing existing customers while prospecting new business in the Chattanooga area driving growth by finding opportunities, starting conversations, opening accounts, and building long-term customer relationships.While outside sales experience is a big plus, restaurant professionals, chefs, and culinary experts who understand fresh produce, customer needs, and kitchen operations are highly encouraged to apply.What You'll DoProspect: Hunt for new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and direct follow-up with decision-makers.Pipeline & Growth: Build a sales pipeline, open new accounts, reactivate former customers, and expand accounts through strong relationships.Learn the Trade: Master T&T Produce's products, pricing, inventory, operations, and sales processes.Collaborate: Partner closely with the local Chattanooga team to seamlessly service your customers.Track Success: Meet sales and margin goals while diligently tracking your daily activity and follow-ups.Who We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:Comfortable with cold calling, in-person prospecting, and unscheduled business visits.Strong communication and interpersonal relationship-building skills.Self-motivated, organized, persistent, and disciplined with your daily sales activities.Able to thrive in a fast-paced industry and travel throughout the Chattanooga area.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred Qualifications:Background in restaurants, hospitality, produce, food service, outside sales, or territory sales.Proven track record of building a book of business.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.College degree is a plus.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Pay: Base salary plus commission structure.Perks: Car allowance, Cell Phone, and flexible schedule.Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, 401K, and vision insurance, plus company-paid life insurance.Time Off: Paid vacation.Culture: A supportive, team-oriented environment.If you enjoy building relationships, winning new customers, and working out in the field rather than behind a desk, we'd love to hear from you!
