Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain automated screw machines in a manufacturing environment. This role involves monitoring production, performing routine maintenance, ensuring product quality, and supporting general shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up automated screw machines.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil and coolant checks.
• Assist with cleaning, packing, and material movement.

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operation and maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass math and mechanical aptitude assessments.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production floor setting.
• Requires standing for extended periods.
• Involves lifting and moving materials.
• Fast-paced environment with opportunities to develop machining and manufacturing skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10/hr.
