Role Description The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing fixed income portfolios, including security selection, trade execution, and ongoing performance monitoring. Daily activities include analyzing macroeconomic data, credit fundamentals, and market conditions to inform investment decisions and risk positioning. The role involves collaborating with research, trading, and operations teams to implement strategies, optimize liquidity, and ensure compliance with investment guidelines and regulatory requirements. The Portfolio Manager will also prepare portfolio reviews, contribute to client and consultant communications, and support business development efforts with clear, data-driven insights. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including quantitative analysis, risk assessment, and data-driven decision-making. Expertise in finance and investments, particularly in fixed income markets, instruments, and valuation methods. Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, including asset allocation, performance attribution, and risk management. Knowledge of trading practices, order execution, and market microstructure across fixed income products. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA designation (or progress toward it) is preferred. Proficiency with portfolio analytics tools and market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, and related modeling software). Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
