Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a long-established Buffalo, NY religious institution on their search for a Bookkeeper based out of their Grand Island office. Starting wage for this role is $28 - $30 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package. In this role you will serve as a key member of the leadership team by overseeing financial management, human resources, facilities operations, and administrative functions to ensure the effective and efficient operation of a thriving organization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Maintain all financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank accounts, and oversee cash management activities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and other required financial documentation for leadership
  • Monitor and record revenue, including collections, deposits, and other income sources, ensuring accuracy and proper internal controls
  • Process payroll and assist with employee benefits administration while maintaining payroll records and supporting personnel-related documentation
  • Support the day-to-day administrative operations, including maintaining records, coordinating insurance matters, and assisting with financial audits and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff and vendors on financial matters, facilities-related expenditures, and special projects as needed
