Requisition Summary

PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Area Rental Manager to help realize our vision of becoming North America's largest full service leasing company. At PacLease our goal is to provide premium products and a complete suite of transportation services with the lowest cost of ownership. We recognize that rental services are essential to full service lease growth and have dedicated significant resources to enhancing our Rental department through technology, training, and talented people. The Rental organization is critical to the success of PACCAR's franchises, providing exceptional customer service and premium margins. The Rental team facilitates fleet growth by training, coaching, and selling the processes and products PacLease provides.

In this position, the Area Rental Manager will be responsible for working with Franchise Management and local salespeople to develop, manage, and grow overall rental fleet performance. This position will also be a critical driver for the growth and future foundation of the Rental organization at PACCAR Leasing Company!

The ideal candidate has two year's sales and customer service/rental experience and two years' experience in a leadership role. The candidate must also have strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in the transportation industry. The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, but an Advanced Degree is strongly preferred.

NOTE: This position is out of a home base office and can be in the states of: WA, OR, CA, TX

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Work with Franchise Rental team to meet Franchise and Division rental product line objectives
• Establish relationships with Franchise sales representatives in order to assist in marketing initiatives, proposals, closing opportunities, and account management
• Identify prospective National Rental Account Customers from the nation's top private for-hire fleets
• Coordinate sales activities between the lease and rental sales teams to generate follow up on joint referral exchange, support of new rental and lease account growth, and joint sales calls to achieve overall franchise annual sales and objectives
• Engage National Rental Account prospects in marketing and proposal discussions in order to persuade them to purchase PacLease products and services
• Manage National Rental Account customers in order to ensure seamless service levels and grow share of wallet
• Create and manage a working database of Franchises and prospects. Leverage dates to increase efficiencies in sales and operations support

• Establish relationships with franchise leadership in order to influence decisions and drive rental fleet and staffing growth
• Analyze key metrics, analyze various P&L statements and observe franchise operations in order to determine opportunities for improvement in operations and sales. Develop recommendations to improve performance and persuade the franchises to adopt the needed changes
• Implement PLC division standard processes and procedures to elevate the customer experience and broaden brand identity
• Gather market data and work with marketing to benchmark state and regional opportunities

• Identify and calibrate performers across within franchises and discuss with franchise leadership as necessary to correctly manage and reward performance of their rental teams
• Assist in goal setting and development plans to challenge each organization and team
• Assist in recruiting efforts to fill openings for Franchise locations
• Observe behaviors and performance of rental teams and provide direct feedback for development. Provide recommendation to PacLease Senior Management on rental programs and change behavior through conversations that generate self-awareness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree Preferred
• 2 years sales experience
• 2 years customer service experience/rental
• 2 years management experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Willingness to travel throughout a large geographic region as necessary, work the required schedule, work at various locations and travel 50-65% of the time
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication, Interpersonal, Sales, and Customer Service Skills
• Leadership and Coaching skills

Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
