About the Role

Current is seeking an IT Systems Intern to support day-to-day technology operations while gaining practical experience with enterprise IT systems and processes. Working alongside the Corporate IT team, this role will assist with end-user support, systems administration, device and access management, documentation, and operational improvement initiatives. The intern will also complete a defined project designed to provide hands-on experience solving a real technology or operational challenge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access-management activities.

• Support troubleshooting of common hardware, software, identity, connectivity, and collaboration-tool issues.

• Help prepare, configure, test, deploy, and track laptops and other employee technology.

• Assist with administration and access reviews for Microsoft 365 and other SaaS applications under supervision.

• Maintain accurate system inventories, asset records, process documentation, and knowledge-base articles.

• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for IT initiatives and operational metrics.

• Follow established security, privacy, acceptable-use, access-control, and change-management procedures.

• Complete an assigned internship project and present findings, recommendations, or outcomes to the IT team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed relevant education or technical training.

• Interest in IT systems, technical support, systems administration, identity management, or SaaS administration.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Organized, dependable, and able to document work clearly and accurately.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and follow established security procedures.

• Strong learning orientation and willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and collaborate with others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, or cloud-based business applications.

• Basic knowledge of networking, identity and access management, endpoint management, or information security.

• Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, ticketing systems, scripting, technical documentation, or data analysis.

• Previous customer service, help-desk, internship, volunteer, coursework, or technical project experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.

Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
