Director of Learning & Development As the Director of Learning & Development at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, you will oversee and implement all training initiatives for the hotel and corporate functions. You will work collaboratively with People & Culture and department heads to assess needs, develop, facilitate, and evaluate training programs that drive operational effectiveness and guest satisfaction. Job Responsibilities Implement and evaluate new training initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and guest satisfaction. Plan, coordinate, and present corporate training programs in accordance with Accor requirements, covering topics such as harassment‑free workplace, diversity, communication, and leadership. Conduct meetings with Department Heads, trainers, and employees to review performance trends, develop action plans, and provide recognition. Facilitate and support Fairmont Learning Programs, focusing on New Hire Orientation, Heartist Journey, Service Culture, and Luxury Service Standards. Qualifications Proven experience developing and facilitating management and leadership development training programs. Experience in a similar function within a luxury hotel is an asset. Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication, customer‑service focused, positive attitude, and impeccable integrity.
