Job Summary:

Seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to lead engineering development activities in a new product development environment. The ideal candidate will have strong project execution, program management, customer engagement, and risk management experience while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development teams in a new product development environment
Ensure project performance and successful execution
Manage customer relationships and communications
Develop and manage project schedules and milestones
Understand technologies used across various programs
Develop program and project cost estimates
Support baseline planning and development
Develop project metrics and provide status reporting
Conduct variance analysis and corrective actions
Manage project risks and opportunities
Coordinate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships
Support occasional domestic and/or international travel (less than 10%)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in a related field
Experience leading development teams in an engineering environment
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Strong Program Management experience
Demonstrated Earned Value Management (EVM) proficiency
Experience enhancing customer relationships
Experience with RCCA activities
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to manage risks and opportunities effectively
Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and drive results
