Operations Manager DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend The DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend is seeking an accomplished and results-driven Operations Manager to join our hotel’s senior leadership team. This highly visible leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of the hotel’s Front Office and Food & Beverage divisions, including restaurant and bar operations, Starbucks, and Banquets. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, financial performance, and Hilton brand compliance across multiple departments. We are seeking a hospitality leader who sets exceptionally high standards, develops strong teams, understands the financial drivers of hotel operations, and can translate strategy into consistent execution. Key Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level operational oversight of Front Office, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Starbucks
• Lead and develop department managers and supervisors, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability
• Champion Hilton brand standards and ensure consistent execution of service, quality, cleanliness, and operational expectations
• Drive guest satisfaction and service recovery strategies while identifying and addressing recurring operational trends
• Partner with the General Manager and hotel leadership team on property-wide operational strategy and business priorities
• Oversee departmental staffing, scheduling, productivity, and labor management based on occupancy, events, forecasted demand, and business levels
• Monitor departmental financial performance, revenue opportunities, expenses, labor costs, and operational efficiencies
• Provide leadership for banquet and event execution, partnering closely with Sales and Catering to ensure successful delivery from planning through completion
• Maintain strong operational controls across cash handling, inventory, food and beverage, responsible alcohol service, and other areas of risk
• Review hotel performance metrics and develop actionable strategies to improve service, profitability, and operational consistency
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, hospitality, and continuous improvement
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop leaders capable of building strong and engaged teams
• Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout the property, particularly during high-volume periods, major events, and peak business demand
• Serve as a senior Manager on Duty and represent hotel leadership when necessary

Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be a seasoned hospitality operations leader who is equally comfortable analyzing performance, developing leaders, and stepping into the operation when needed. Qualifications:

• Progressive hotel leadership experience, preferably within a full-service, upscale, or branded hotel environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience across multiple operational departments
• Strong Front Office and Food & Beverage operational knowledge
• Banquet and event operations experience strongly preferred
• Hilton experience and familiarity with Hilton systems and brand standards highly preferred
• Experience overseeing restaurant, bar, coffee/retail, or similar F&B outlets preferred
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, departmental expenses, budgets, forecasts, and revenue opportunities
• Proven ability to develop managers, build high-performing teams, and establish accountability
• Strong understanding of guest satisfaction metrics, quality assurance, and service recovery
• Excellent executive communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully lead in a dynamic, high-volume hotel environment
