Work Details Shift: M-F | 8:30a – 5:00p Work Location: Onsite – Medina, Ohio Division: Shared Services Team: Business Development Reports To: President Facilities Management Job Purpose The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives by expanding existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities across our Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management, and Property Management divisions. This role identifies and evaluates economically viable opportunities, builds strong partnerships, and collaborates with internal leadership to present and support business opportunities that align with organizational goals and long-term growth strategies. Responsibilities Relationship Development: Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients, public sector partners, elected officials, and community organizations to support long‑term business growth and brand awareness. Business Opportunity Identification: Network with national, regional, and local organizations to identify economically viable business opportunities across Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management, and Property Management. Client Partnership Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal divisions, managing onboarding, contract negotiations, and overall customer relationship activities. Strategic Collaboration & Analysis: Partner with leadership across all four divisions to evaluate opportunities, prepare business case analyses, and support company‑wide business development strategies. Industry & Brand Representation: Represent Pleasant Valley at trade events, industry associations, and community organizations while staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments. Requirements Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field highly preferred. Industry Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of business development experience within commercial real estate, construction, facility management, and/or property management industries required. Business Development Success: Proven track record of growing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and achieving business development goals. Communication & Relationship Skills: Strong sales, presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Technical & Travel Requirements: Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms required, with the ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pleasant Valley Corporation
