We are actively recruiting for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to serve in a full-time role in the Deer Valley, Arizona area for the 2026–2027 school year. All applicants must be a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired in the state of Arizona and hold or be eligible to obtain an AZ Educator Certificate.

Compensation for these opportunities is lucrative, negotiable, and significantly higher than traditional district-employed positions. Most importantly, these are stable, year-long contract roles—Elevation Healthcare retains over 90% of our school district contracts year after year.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are blind or visually impaired
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and independence
- Adapt educational materials and teach the use of assistive technology
- Support students in both academic and functional skill development
- Write and implement IEPs, track progress, and maintain documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education with certification in Visual Impairment
- Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
