Inventory Control Specialist

Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00

Department: Inventory Control

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager

The Inventory Control Specialist audits warehouse inventory accuracy through physical inventory counts, product review, and other necessary or assigned tasks.

Job Description:

Execute daily cycle counts according to Kuna's cycle count plan
Execute daily inventory, date, and lot verifications on sensitive and requested items
Organize inventory in pick slots
Report and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
Ensure correct labeling of products and racking
Identify and remove damaged products
Audits of inbound receiving for accuracy, investigate discrepancies and communicate with accounts payable
Work unsupervised for extended periods of time
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Able to work safely in a warehouse environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly
Able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
Able to work in refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from -10F to 40F
Ability to obtain material handling equipment certifications on electric pallet jacks, high-rise order pickers, forklifts, etc.
Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) skills
Prior WMS or ERP experience
Prior warehouse experience, food distribution, and inventory control a plus
