Germanna Community College is centrally located in Fredericksburg, VA between Washington D.C. and Richmond and between the Blue Ridge mountains and the Chesapeake Bay. The Art Department at Germanna Community College is currently looking for an adjunct able to teach ART 131, 132, and 180 primarily. The department is also accepting applications for possible future openings in the field of Art. Special Assignments May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications Depending on the course, positions may require: Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in teaching discipline; or a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in teaching field with prior related occupational experience Official transcripts will be required prior to final offer Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching Additional Considerations Substantial teaching experience Work experience in the field Experience with on-line teaching Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools Operation of a State Vehicle Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees Supervises Employees No Required Travel May be required to travel between different college locations.
