Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU/IMC patients, including telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Manage post-MI care, IV insulin titration, heparin protocols, and timely administration of cardiac medications.
- Support patients across surgical pre/post-op pathways (ENT, general, trauma, ortho) and overflow medical care as needed.
- Perform central line/PICC care, ports, wound care/wound Vac, chest tube care, and blood product administration as indicated.
- Assist with airway support and non-invasive ventilation; manage feeding tubes and IV access; participate in rapid response when needed.
- Document care in EPIC accurately and efficiently; coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient progress.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience; PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years required
- Traveler experience accepted; previous charge experience preferred
- EPIC charting experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
- Preferred: PALS and TCAR
- Ability to work in a mixed-acuity PCU/IMC environment with telemetry; ability to float to sister units as needed
- RTO: 7 days max; candidates located more than 50 miles from the assignment location
