Emergency Technician - Per Diem Multiple Schedule Available

Overview Emergency Technician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This is a Per Diem/On-Call position, with multiple shifts/schedule available. Responsibilities Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician or nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during procedures. Qualifications Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed) Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually 1 year of relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military medical experience, or as a senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
