Oasis Travel Plaza is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Cashier / Customer Service Associate to join our busy truck stop and travel center. This is not a typical entry-level cashier position. Our team serves both regular customers and professional drivers, handling fleet cards, commercial fuel and diesel transactions, Lottery, age-restricted products, food service, and multiple transaction systems. So, ideal candidates will have prior experience in a truck stop, travel center, high-volume convenience store, or fuel center, and be comfortable with technology and different types of transactions. Providing independent judgment during busy shifts. Principal duties include greeting customers, providing excellent service, handling customer concerns professionally, operating registers and processing cash, credit, fleet cards, and commercial fuel transactions assisting drivers with fuel and travel center services, monitoring fuel court activity, preparing food and beverages to standard, stocking and rotating merchandise, checking expiration dates, maintaining cleanliness, and following all safety, security, cash handling, and store operation procedures. Essential functions include strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, comfort with multiple systems and complex transactions, reliability, and ability to work various shifts as needed. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift, perform regular physical tasks, and lift up to 35 pounds. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred); a minimum of 5 years of relevant cashier, travel center, fuel, or convenience store experience is required, with 7 or more years strongly preferred. Previous truck stop, fleet card, or commercial fuel transaction experience will be given preference.

This is a full-time, on-site position.
