ROLE DESCRIPTION: As an Outbound Sales Account Representative for Derrick Elzey - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations, growth and to the transformation of customer's lives through direct identification and implementation of a proper insurance plan. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between prospect needs and the products we offer. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively and consistently marketing relevant products and services.


We operate with daily scoreboards, defined processes and direct coaching. As an attentive, sociable, and sales-minded professional, we are eager to have you on our team. You also have the direct ability to control your income through our comp structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be present
  • Office Hours 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Generate new customers
• Calling prospects and previous customers to educate on comprehensive insurance plans
• Identify and address prospect needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to obtain MD Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance licenses
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Experience in customer service or sales preferred
• No experience in insurance and financial services required
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Coach-ability

Our team is trained to help you with your car insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance, small business insurance, Life insurance and health insurance.

I serve on the Stephen Decatur Business Advisory team. I enjoy staying active in the community and contributing to our area's growth while networking with and supporting other local small business owners. On the weekends, you can find me hanging out with my wife and our two children. I also enjoy playing the guitar, working out and exploring new places in Berlin and the surrounding area. We put our community first because as a longtime resident of the area, I understand that if you take care of your community, your community will take care of you.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• Our office is located in Berlin, MD.
• Our office is open 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
