Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent 23 years as Vice President of a packaging, trucking, and warehousing company, bringing decades of leadership and business experience into agency ownership. I'm a graduate of West Virginia University, have been married for more than 36 years, and am a proud parent of four. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, fishing, and horseback riding. Giving back is important to our agency, and we proudly support organizations including the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity. Our agency offers a Simple IRA, 18 paid days off each year, licensing reimbursement, no weekend work, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Tom Prunty - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Bilingual Spanish preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr State Farm
