Our organization is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized training or significant experience in foot and ankle surgery to become part of our collaborative, mission-focused team. • Diverse Surgical Practice: Manage a fulfilling variety of orthopedic trauma cases, including hip and ankle fractures, as well as intricate foot and ankle procedures like ankle arthroplasties. Benefit from comprehensive support from midlevel providers and residents.
• Academic Excellence: Mentor and teach orthopedic residents from the University of Arizona, engage in interdisciplinary academic initiatives, and explore opportunities for research and medical education collaboration.
• Exceptional Colleagues & Support: Collaborate with three experienced orthopedic surgeons and a skilled team of six mid-level professionals along with an orthopedic resident. Enjoy shared on-call duties with strong coverage and collegial support.
• Modern Facility: Practice at a 295-bed "Flagship" Joint Commission-accredited level 1a teaching hospital situated on a tranquil 150-acre campus. • Provide direct clinical care and manage perioperative processes for orthopedic trauma, with a focus on foot and ankle surgery.
• Lead, mentor, and educate within a thriving academic setting.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams within the VA and community partners.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee activities.
• Utilize cutting-edge resources and contribute to program development.

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• Highly Competitive Salary: $325,000 - $400,000 per year, plus annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases.

• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered per VA policy if qualified).
• MD/DO or equivalent; completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training or substantial experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty) is highly preferred.
• Active, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state.
• Commitment to academic involvement, patient-centered care, and excellence in teamwork.
