Senior AccountantA rapidly growing, private equity-backed infrastructure services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This role offers broad exposure across accounting operations, financial reporting, and strategic growth initiatives within a multi-entity organization.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting month-end close, financial reporting, project accounting, fixed assets, and process improvement while partnering closely with operations and finance leadership. This position also provides unique exposure to acquisitions, systems integration, and scaling accounting processes as the organization continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reportsMaintain balance sheet accounts and perform variance analysisAssist with project/job-cost accounting, contract billing, and WIP reportingOversee fixed asset and equipment accounting, including depreciation and capital expendituresPartner with operations to ensure accurate project financialsSupport acquisition integration, accounting standardization, and process improvementsAssist with audits, tax compliance, and internal controlsIdentify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and accounting efficiencyMentor junior accounting staff and contribute to the continued growth of the finance functionQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end closeExperience with journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet managementBackground in project-based industries (construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or field services) preferredExperience with fixed assets, job costing, or multi-entity accounting is a plusCPA (or progress toward certification) preferred but not requiredStrong ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsThis is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking increased responsibility, exposure to acquisitions and business growth initiatives, and a clear path for career advancement within a collaborative and fast-paced organization.
