Milling CNC Machinist

The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.

Shifts available: 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:00pm, optional overtime on Friday's.

Sign-on bonus available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!

Duties and Responsibilities

Milling CNC Machinist duties and responsibilities include:

• Operate Milling CNC machines
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
• Complete tool changes

Position Requirements

Milling CNC Machinist position requirements include:

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

Milling CNC Machinist preferred knowledge, skills and abilities include:

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines
• Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range

USD $20.38 - USD $35.72 /Hr.

20+ hours:
