Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RRT preferred; 1 year experience accepted per standard listing, client requires 2 years.
• BCLS / BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record required.
• Experience with airway management and suctioning procedures: endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning.
• Medication administration experience with aerosolized and inhaled therapies including albuterol, ipratropium (Atrovent), Combivent, inhaled Flolan, inhaled steroids, lidocaine, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, and Xopenex.
• Experience using medication delivery systems for aerosol therapy.
• Pending license applications accepted.
• Locals within 75 miles are not accepted; candidates must be outside the 75-mile local radius.
• Must be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• First-time travel clinicians accepted.
• RTO (requested time off) restrictions: no more than 7 days.
• Weekend requirement: every third weekend required.
• Preferred: prior experience in hospital acute care settings and neuro diagnostics.

• Shift pattern: Night 3x12-hour.
• Shift hours: 18:45 - 07:15.
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend.
• Start date: 06/08/2026. Assignment length: 26 week.
• Floating: Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be full regular shift length.
