Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic procedures, and developing individualized care strategies
• Identifying and managing both acute and chronic health issues in collaboration with fellow physicians or independently as warranted by your credentials
• Providing valuable education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and illness management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice
• Engaging in long-term patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
• Maintaining meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) to uphold documentation standards

Education Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kansas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
