Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State or Compact license Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Travel experience preferred Description: Seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse for an outpatient chemotherapy unit. The nurse will be responsible for the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Experience in caring for patients with all cancer diagnoses, as well as hematology malignancies, is preferred. Nurses must be proficient in managing central lines and administering blood products. A strong understanding of patient assessments and side effects of chemotherapy is essential. Ability to provide patient and family education and support is required. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of cytotoxic materials. Candidates should have experience charting in an electronic health record system. Familiarity with Epic is preferred. Participation in interdisciplinary team support is expected.
