Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Visit supplier facilities to perform quality inspections.
- Scan, sort, and inspect parts for defects and non-conformities.
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation.
- Enter data and prepare reports using computer applications.
- Communicate quality concerns and findings to the appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes and standards.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to scan, sort, and inspect parts accurately.
- Proficient with computers and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently at supplier locations.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Automotive or manufacturing quality experience preferred.
