It offers a stable, family-owned platform with long-term orientation, operating in a sector where execution quality, working capital control and compliance truly matter.The job profileThe Finance function at Broekman Logistics is evolving from a traditional reporting and consolidation role into a proactive, strategic business partner. While Finance continues to ensure accurate accounting and high-quality reporting, it increasingly provides insights that support decision-making, strategy, and execution. Key objectives include harmonisation, process optimisation, and digitalisation across accounting, reporting, and business control.As the new Manager Finance & Control, you hold a strategic overview of the Group Finance organisation and lead four Finance teams (Group Control, Finance Control, Transaction, and Payroll). In total, you are responsible for 14 FTE, including 5 direct reports. Within the Finance department, you combine strong financial expertise with a clear affinity for information management and financial systems.There is significant scope for automation and innovation across the Finance organisation. In addition to ensuring a robust and reliable accounting and reporting cycle, you will take the lead in establishing a strong performance management framework and in shaping a more forward-looking Finance function. The ideal candidate has a strong affinity with IT, leverages systems to drive efficiency and insight, and takes an active role in exploring and applying AI-driven improvements."You ensure accurate, timely and insightful reporting across all divisions and entities, enabling the Group CFO and senior leadership to steer the business with confidence."The ideal candidateYou are a driven and structured finance professional with a strong technical accounting foundation, able to bring clarity to complexity and take ownership of delivering reliable, high quality group reporting. You not only enjoy being in control of the numbers, but also continuously seek to improve how those numbers are produced.Tech savvy by nature, you are always looking for smarter ways of working—faster, more automated, and more standardized. You are not satisfied with the status quo if things can be done better.
