Job Title: RN - PCU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care PCU License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience BLS, ACLS & NIH Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the Progressive Care Unit. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has a total of 345 beds. This facility has received a 3-time Magnet designation. The nursing staff primarily consists of RNs and CNAs during both day and night shifts. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 during days and nights, which vary between units. The facility uses various equipment and operates on the Meditech EMR system. Candidates should be flexible and willing to float between units. Teamwork and compassion are essential for success in this role. This position provides a great opportunity to learn and care for patients with diverse medical issues, both acute and chronic.
