The position is for an OR RN working a day shift. The assignment lasts for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the operating room. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Epic experience is also necessary for this position. There is no on-call requirement, and weekends and holidays are off. Every third week will include a late week rotation. The operating room has 4 procedure rooms serving both adults and pediatrics. The role encompasses multiple service lines including orthopedics, electrophysiology, urology, plastics, ENT, facial plastics, cataracts, pain management, and breast oncology. Staffing includes 2 lead clinical OR RNs and 1 OR charge RN. Staffing is flexible based on patient volumes. A resource team of 2-3 RNs and 2-3 surgical techs is available to assist throughout the day.
