Stand - Up Forklift Operators!

Locations:
• Romeoville, IL

Pay Rate:
$21.00-$22.00 per hr.

1st and 2nd Shift Are you ready to advance your logistics career? Kelly Services is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operators for our valued clients in Romeoville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for efficient warehouse operations. What You’ll Do
As a Forklift Operator, you will operate the stand up forklift in a  freezer environments. Your responsibilities will include moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise, as well as assisting with order filling and verification tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound shipments and transfer products to storage, including freezer areas
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in both ambient and freezer locations
• Prepare products for shipment, verifying both type and quantity
• Load products into rail cars or trailers from staging and storage areas
• Operate Stand-Up, Sit Down, or other powered equipment as needed
• Utilize RF scanning equipment for order processing
• Maintain accurate inventory records, support cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation
• Assist with physical inventories (including freezer)
• Support building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
• Uphold SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in freezer environments, frequently moving in and out of cold storage
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities a plus
