Example of Duties and Responsibilities Be a Watchful Presence :Perform routine safety checks and provide close, constant observation, including one-to-one (1:1) or two-to-one (2:1) assignments. Be a Communicator : Document your observations and relay significant information to the clinical care team. Be a Guardian :Continuously monitor patients at risk for self-harm or behavioral incidents to ensure their safety. Be a Team Member :Work under the supervision of nursing staff to maintain hospital policies and a safe environment. Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
