You want to be the boss? Well now's your chance - Domino's Pizza is hiring bosses - more specifically assistant managers. It's a tough job, one that needs a natural like you. Of course, you'll need some skills - judgment, math and the ability to multitask. You will be working for a company that's fun and flexible. Not to mention, it's work experience you'll use for a long time to come. You've had our pizza delivered to you, now help us be the best in pizza delivery. Go on, boss, show us what you've got. Responsibilities You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your crew. Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards, provide great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transport to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability. Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility daily. Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person, and accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide. Make correct monetary change, use the computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders, navigate maps and local addresses, and deliver products while navigating adverse terrain. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, and handle people. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to accurately and quickly perform movements. Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. Basic math skills, ability to read a map, and to navigate to customer locations. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, and locomotor tasks for extended periods. Carrying up to 50 pounds and lifting heavier items with a hand truck. Occasional climbing stairs or ladders, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and stooping or bending to specific workstations. Driving within a designated delivery area. Work in varying temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F. Work Conditions Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and removing trash. Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and when outside. Exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters such as walk-in coolers. Potentially sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Additional Information Many team members start as delivery drivers and can progress to assistant manager, general manager, franchisee, or corporate operations manager.
