Position Summary As a Line Cook at Mimi Garden, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Mimi Garden recipes and quality standards. Set up, stock, and maintain your station with all necessary supplies. Cook and manage orders on the sauté and hot line stations in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in compliance with California law. Work collaboratively with kitchen teammates, servers, and management to ensure seamless service. Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies and ingredients. Participate in menu testing, seasonal specials, and new recipe development as requested. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment. Strong technical skills, including knife handling and knowledge of cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures (ServSafe certification preferred). Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. Passion for Chinese cuisine and hospitality a plus. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation : $35,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience. Consistent schedule and income stability.
