Material Handler 2nd Shift

Job Summary The Material Handler role is responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate movement of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Job Title: Material Handler Department: Material Handlers Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor FLSA Status: Non Exempt Travel: 0% Job Type: Full-time Essential Duties & Responsibilities Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments Organize and maintain inventory levels Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when handling materials Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area Partner with operators and cell leaders to move materials to and from production cells to create continual production. Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities on all supplies Ensure all supply inventory is in the correct locations Help on Production lines as time permits Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer specifications Participate in efficiency improvements throughout the plant All other duties as assigned. Education Requirement / Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred 3 – 6 months of relevant experience. Must be able to read, write and understand basic math. 1+ years of forklift driving experience. Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge or Plex ERP system and inventory transactions. Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements. Strong Quality mindset and a drive for perfection. Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
