Position: Quality Engineer (Plastic Injection Molding) Location: Hudson, MA (on-site) Schedule: Monday to Friday (based on business needs) Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (Dependent on Experience) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire The Opportunity This is not a passive quality role. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who will take ownership of quality performance, challenge the status‑quo, and drive measurable improvements across our injection molding operations. You’ll play a key role in upholding PMM’s reputation for excellence by driving quality standards that meet and exceed customer expectations. Essential Functions Lead quality strategy and execution across injection molding operations. Formatting quality plans, contract reviews, and launching new products to the floor. Providing timely communication and delivery of test reports to customers. Investigating and resolving quality issues by implementing corrective actions. Developing and controlling inspection plans for molding and secondary operations. Supporting and enforcing the ISO 9001:2015 management system. Utilizing and programming the CMM, Micro‑Vu, optical comparators, and hand‑held measuring equipment. Assisting team with all quality tests. Mentor and develop quality team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve complex manufacturing and quality challenges. Ideal Candidate Experience Proven experience in testing plastics injection molding products. Bachelor’s degree or higher. Previous blueprint experience and GD&T knowledge. FAI (First Article Inspection) & PPAP understanding. Prior programming and use of PC‑DMIS for CMM. Be a team‑oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical Demands of Position Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, or maneuvering.
