Payroll Specialist
Robert Half
We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact role with visibility across HR and leadership, and an urgency to hire due to an upcoming retirement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Process payroll for both union and non-union employees
- Handle multi-state payroll, deductions, and compliance requirements
- Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and filings
- Partner with HR on employee changes and payroll-related items
- Serve as a go-to for payroll questions and issue resolution
What they’re looking for:
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll systems (Paylocity highly preferred)
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- Union payroll exposure is a plus
- Strong Excel skills
